Welcome to Pinàbre Campsite
Pinàbre is a quiet, natural site set around an old Breton farmhouse in a rural location.
The Village of Plouguenast is only a mile away for shops, restaurants, bike and canoe/kayak hire; the medieval town (and famed seafood) of Moncontour is 10 minutes’ drive from the site, and lush Loudéac forest, with its 50 kilometres of hiking and biking trails, is within 15 minutes.
Pinabre Camping & Caravan Site is situated in the countryside which is ideal for walking and cycling or just relaxing and its central location means that the beautiful Breton beaches and medieval towns and cities are all within easy reach by car. There are plenty of VTT tracks (cycle routes) which will challenge off road cyclists and family cycling is a pleasure along the country roads and tracks, there is very little traffic but plenty of scenery.
We also have a three bedroom farmhouse which we let out for people who like their home comforts.
Farm House
The Farmhouse can sleep up to five people over three bedrooms and is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The open plan ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with table and chairs and lounge area with sofas, TV and DVD player. Also on the ground floor but off the open plan area you will find a separate toilet and shower room and a utility room equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
Upstairs the bedrooms are laid out as one double room, a single room and a room which can either be a double or two twin beds depending on your party size. All bedding and towels are provided for the period of your stay.
The Campsite
Our spacious campsite has ten pitches of which six have electric hook ups and full touring facilities, ideal for caravans, motor homes and tents.
Campsite amenities
There are two toilet/shower cubicles with hot and cold water, hand basin and plenty of room. There is an additional toilet also. A washing up sink and washing machine (small charge applies) are available for guests to use and local tourist information leaflets and ideas are always available. A fridge shelf for those camping and with no other means of refrigeration is also available free of charge.
Motorhomes
The Campsite itself has six electric hook ups, water taps and chemical waste disposal point for guests with motorhomes or caravans.

The Cottage
Renovation of our cottage is now underway with the expectation of completion by around September 2024.

Brittany is full of wonderful places to explore, relax or enjoy. With its many beaches nestled in bays and coves with their blue waters and sandy shores, to the many Medieval towns with their magnificent walls and ancient buildings. Cycle ways, forest and coastal footpaths, golf courses and fishing lakes are everywhere, so there is always something for everyone. Pinabre is centrally located in Brittany which makes it an ideal base from which to start out creating your holiday memories. Below are some of the more local attractions.
